Sunday, March 5, 1-4. Copy a Garment without Taking it Apart, Part 1. I KNOW you have that favorite garment you’d like to give a new life. Bring it in and we’ll teach you how to copy and make a pattern from it without taking it apart! The 2nd part is Saturday, March 11, 1-4. $45

It's ALMOST Spring???? I sure hope so! We're teaching all kinds of classes this month, so
me old stand by's like Sewing Machine MD, Zipper Bags and Monster Dolls.
We're also teaching some garment/fitting type classes, like our fantastically popular Copy a Garment w/o Taking it Apart, Make Your Own Leggings.
Then, we have some NEW classes and classes that are requested by lots of folks, including: Felted Rocks (yes you read that right) Felted Soap, and Handmade Japanese Papers.
BUT - one of the most exciting classes we are having this month has a guest teacher, Karen Hanrahan. She is a collage/journaling artist and she is giving a workshop this month.

Saturday, March 25, 1-2:30. Felted Soaps with Sandra Loeffelman. I’m taking this class just to make all my hostess gifts for the year! Seriously, this is a fun and easy class and you are guaranteed to have some good clean fun (sorry - couldn’t resist). $25
Thursdays & Fridays, March 2, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31, between 12 and 5. Private Class Time. This is the time we’ve set aside for YOU to call US and schedule a class or some help. OR get a few pals together and we’ll create a class based on your suggestions. $15/hr, per student.
Saturday, March 25, 2-6. Beginning Pattern Making II. This takes your pattern making skills to the next level. Learn how to combine pattern sections to make more complex designs, collars, more about sleeves, etc. Pattern Making I or equivalent knowledge is pre-requisite. $90
Saturday, March 4, 1-5. Part 2 Bodice Sloper. You have to have participated in Part 1 to attend this class.
Wednesday, March 29, 5:30-8. Sewing Machine MD. Bring in your sewing machine(s) and learn how to clean, oil and balance your tension yourself. You and your machines will be VERY VERY happy with one another and you’ll have more success with your sewing projects! $45 for one, $60 for two machines.

Sunday, March 5, 2-3:30. Felted Rocks with Sandra Loeffelman. Felting ROCKS right? Come felt some rocks with Sandra Loeffelman. These make great paper weights (pattern weights), or just fun gifts. Show your rock how much you care. $35.

Sunday, March 12, 12-4. Make your own Leggings. We’ll take your measurements and draft a pattern for leggings to fit your body! You’ll learn about knits, ease (and negative ease) AND you’ll get a pair of leggings out of the deal! We supply materials, Some sewing experience required. $40

Sunday, March 26, 12-4. Zipper Bags. Learn how to make these fun bags in three shapes. You’ll overcome your fear of zippers AND have some great bags in which to store your special stuff. OR you can give them as gifts. $25

Wednesday, March 15, 5:30-8. SEWcial. This is our monthly meeting open to everyone (it’s FREE). Come, bring a project to crow about, or a project that needs some help. We DO serve refreshments.
Friday, March 3, 6-9. Artwalk. Artwork by Ann Maki. Come see her knitted constructions. They are organic and elegant. A wonderful exhibition especially as we start to see our frozen world “wake up” to Spring. FREE
Sunday, March 12, 1-3, Journal Journey with Karen Hanrahan. This Creative Subconscious Collage Workshop is a facilitated process. The workshop is experiential, thought provoking, and meditative. Participants walk away with a torn paper expression that is in the moment and unique to them. They will take away a skill set that they can utilize over and over. Many of these lessons can be applied to fabric decoration too. $40

Sunday, March 19, 12-4. Handmade Japanese Papers. We have Mitsumata, Kozo and Gampi Japanese paper pulps. These beautiful fibers make wonderful, delicate pages. You can also put images or textures between the thin layers. $50
